When I embarked on the journey of creating “Lovee Talk,” I was fully aware that I didn’t fit the traditional mold of a professional R&B singer. However, I was determined not to let the fact that I am not a singer deter me from creating the type of music I love. Taking a bold step outside my comfort zone and blending meaningful lyrics, infectious beats, and heartfelt vocals, I embraced the unique imperfections that accompany being a non-traditional artist getting it out the mud. I wanted it to be different from the usual R&B and Rap music you hear. I didn’t want to copy what’s popular right now.
